Figure competition dating

23 Apr

A week ago, fellow PT blogger Mark White wrote a post about the fact that "there are valuable insights that can be gleaned from basic economic principles applied to situations usually not regarded as economic in nature, especially marriage, family - and dating." To illustrate his point, he mentioned a post I had written about women's competition for "good men." He proposes that this competition could be seen as an application of the prisoner's dilemma (which he nicely describes).

Using the prisoner's dilemma, he shows that when women collectively spend resources, including time, money and energy, in competing for the same good men, they are losing out collectively. White states, reaching a collective effort so that all women stop competing would be difficult to obtain - to put it mildly.

Figuring out what is going on in a guy’s mind in the first few weeks of dating would really help a woman feel more assured, knowing that she is in control of the situation.

Here are a few tips to get you moving in the right direction.

In the 2012 photo, I was about 3 weeks into the cutting phase after a 4 month bulk and was much fuller and rounder than I am now.

Granted, I was posing and in heels in the photo from 2012 and am relaxed and in bare feet in the photo from today, but I was certainly bigger.

Mating is one of our core motivations, and we must be intelligent about it.

I personally think these books address our confidence - they hold our hands in helping us pay attention to things we already know, but that's another blog post for another day.

It’s called the 80/20 Rule for Lifting and calls your attention to reality: 80% of what you do doesn’t matter. Don’t eat crap or else you will never get where you want to be. This morning I took my initial set of measurements and stepped on the scale for the first time in a long while.

I am trying to locate girls in the Tennessee (Nashville area) to be exact, to get to know, pick your brains, understand and are willing to share their knowledge with me.

I have a strong desire to compete in fitness/figure. Might do my mani myself though to save some $$ So much to buy for this!

And no I am not some crazy stalker person I am a mother of 2 boys, work in a local Level 1 trauma center and am engaged to a MNPD Sgt. Haha BUT I think we'll all enjoy this whole experience.

and we are getting married in Jamaica July 14, 2012. Ok this is funny - I was feeling like a stalker because I'm on Neuro ICU right now browsing this sight and the Nashville part caught my eye. I'm assuming this is the only level 1 trauma center around haha? My hair is very fine so looks greasy the next day....
